About

I’m tandukuda, a multidisciplinary designer based in Surabaya, Indonesia, working across 3D, motion, visual identity, UI/UX, and digital interfaces.

My work is driven by function, structure, and clarity. I care less about design as decoration and more about design as a way to solve communication and experience problems. A strong visual should not only look good, but also explain, guide, and support how something works.

I currently work at Sciencewerk, where my role has shifted from primarily 3D and graphic design into a broader focus on UI/UX, website design, and interactive digital experiences. Most of my work now sits between visual communication and practical systems: designing websites, building interface concepts, creating motion assets, and developing custom Framer components when the project needs it.

My background in 3D and motion still shapes how I approach design. It helps me think about space, depth, rhythm, atmosphere, and storytelling. Combined with UI/UX and web design, that background gives me a more complete way to build digital experiences that are structured, usable, and visually distinct.

This portfolio is kept intentionally minimal. Each project includes enough context to show the problem, the decisions behind the work, and the result. I focus on clarity, usefulness, and lasting value — not just making things look impressive.

What I’m currently interested in:

  • Designing practical visual systems for brands, websites, and digital products
  • Creating interfaces that are clear, functional, and visually distinct
  • Exploring the connection between 3D, motion, UI/UX, and interaction
  • Building custom tools, Framer components, and workflows that make design work faster and more flexible
  • Using design to solve real communication and experience problems

Alongside my design work, I also develop open-source tools, visual frameworks, and personal projects.
